History of Wharfedale Grange

Wharfedale Grange Hotel started as a simple farmhouse with lots of individual buildings that made up a flower and fruit farm.  Today the buildings have been renovated into the luxury barn venue it is today. Now, the property is a rustic, chic, luxury wedding venue created by an interior designer and is considered to be one of the finest wedding venues in Yorkshire.

Weddings at Wharfedale Grange

Wharfedale Grange could be the best Yorkshire wedding venue; rustic with some industrial chic, luxurious, with two barns, fairy lights and is filled with chandeliers. 

The North Barn

The North Barn is where you will exchange your vows, seat your guests and with enough room for your registrars or celebrants and musicians. The wall has the famous fairy lights wall as your backdrop' you will be served up in richness for the whole day. You can choose to tie the knot here or even at one of the nearby churches, it's up to you. The staff will accommodate your wedding plans.

The Cart Bar

Includes a mezzanine floor for planning flexibility in your day. The double height contains cosy rooms, sofas and mirrors, linked by an overhead bridge, it gives a unique perspective with a secret area for bridal (or groom) preparation. The north barn is double-height with a unique mezzanine level from which your guests can drop your confetti! 

The South Barn

For a pure opulent setting, the south barn at Wharfedale is a modern take on the rustic theme. Add a little industrial style to the double-height barn with another mezzanine floor along with designer tables and luxury dining chairs for your wedding breakfast. On the polished wooden dancefloor ready for your first dance lies the biggest rose gold mirror ball you have ever seen, nestled between huge chandeliers! It is breathtaking and where your guests will toast you as you really make an entrance as the large barn doors are opened for your entrance as a newly married couple. 

Which barn should you choose? Both barns make for a wonderful indoor wedding day whilst delivering amazing wedding photos; it's your choice.

The Arbour

The Farmhouse

A six-bedroom Grade II listed farmhouse only available for newly wedded couples this is a delightful treat that accommodates up to 18 people in divine luxury. Decorated in melodramatic colours and with a free-standing copper bath, cinema room and beautiful furniture; it is your luxury home-from-home stay.
