Creating a Connection through pre-wedding photography

Couples have often said to me how much they have enjoyed their pre-wedding photography session. On the day, when the gallery has been delivered and also on their wedding day. Occasionally in their speeches.

The Connection session is a coaching session beofre your wedding day. Many of my clients state they don't feel comfortable posing, therefore, a pre-wedding shoot is a perfect chance for you both to practice posing. I give a little direction and you will feel more comfortable in front of the camera. The result is that I'll show you some very simple techniques to create amazing and natural images of you both. This means on your wedding day we’ll be able to capture more gorgeous photos of you during the couple portrait session on your wedding day. We'll keep them quick too so that you can return to having a brilliant time!

For your pre-wedding Connection shoot we can meet at a location of your choice. This can be a special place for you or a plcae connected to theme that you like; trees, woodlands, water, hillside or we could try to catch a sunset. If you are struggling to find a location I can suggest a few locations that can help.

I met Danny and Hannah at the church in Derbyshire, where they were to be married. The stylised photos suited their close relationship. The Connection session helped the couple to relax and ensured the portriat session on their wedding day went quick and smoothly.

I met Hannah and Imogen at The Surprise, by Owler Tor, near Hathersage. Though the weasther was challenging we were able to find some beautiful spots for photos and discuss the details of their big day.

Wentworth in Rotherham is a beautiful green village on the outskirts of Rotherham. I met Kim and Ciaran with their children for a photoshoot. The photos captured the wonderful family relationship and the love between the soon-to-be married couple.

It was a crisp but beautiful, sunny evening when I met Jade and Matt for their pre-wedding shoot. The stunning location gave some amazing relaxed ansd stylised photos. Their wedding was amazing too!

Charlotte and Joe were really excited to meet for their engagement photography session. We met early to avoid the inevitable crowds and had a wonderful session gettiong to know each other. Afterwards they both felt much more comfortable with me and a camera being around them.
