The Manor House in Lindley, lies on the outskirts of Huddersfield. As you approach the venue you are met with stone pillars and large iron gates. The sweeping drive and beautiful fauna with seasonal flowers let you know something special lies in wait. The Manor House, Lindley is a luxurious and highly desirable wedding venue.
The Manor House has 11 individually design bedrooms, two bars and an elegant cafe for afternoon tea. As a photographer who has photographed weddings here several times, I hear guests commenting that the Manor House is a wedding venue with the 'wow' factor!
The grade II listed Georgian Manor House lies in Lindley, a small, desirable suburb to the northwest of Huddersfield, with close access from the M62 motorway. Lindley also houses the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary hospital and a number of stone fronted independent shops.
The Manor House stood as a derelict building that had previously been a mansion and children's home. Then in 2018, interior designer and entrepreneur, Sara Presley jogged past and purchased it with a plan in mind. Spending £5.5M on renovating the mansion to its current form, Presley's interior design skills paid off when, in 2018, the Manor House awarded the best interior design in the North of England at the 16th Northern Design Awards.
Today the Manor House is a luxury hotel and one of the most prestigious and highly recommended wedding venues in Yorkshire. The Manor House has eleven individually designed character bedrooms, two restaurants, three bars (including the Coach House), a roof terrace, a fitness suite, and an events space.
